David Johnson Cane Bay is not only a successful businessman but also a person with a warm heart and a contributor towards the development of his community. In his recent donations towards supporting a hospital’s women and children department, he urged corporate citizens also to support the institution in a meaningful manner. Despite being busy in managing a successful company, he still finds time to participate in community support programs. Here are things about him that an individual should know.

Education

After finishing his senior level, he first attended the University of West Georgia to study management and MIS and achieved a BBA. His love for technology was evident when he then attended the University of West Georgia to study Computer Information Systems, where he excelled and graduated with an MBA. The skills gained enabled him to enter and prosper in the business world.

Business

After graduating from college, he was fortunate to hold many business positions where he started at Earth Tech as their Regional Project Administrator. Afterward, he held other positions like becoming the TranDotCom Solutions, LLC’s Vice President of Client Services. Currently, he is a core partner of the renowned LLP and Cane Bay Partners VI, companies located in St. Croix and deals with consulting and management. He also contributes enormously to the success of the Strategic Link Consulting, an international company in which he is also a principal partner.

Philanthropist

As a supporter of community development, he is a well-known donor. He pledged a donation of $50,000 to the women and children division of the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital where the donated $25,000 in December 2014 as the first installment and cleared the balance on February 17, 2018. The initial donation got used in renovating and furnishing the facility. The second donation is meant to continue with the excellent work of restoring more rooms.

Driven by the love of business and technology, he continued acquiring more skills like marketing, operating offshore call centers, information technology, and risk management. As he prospers in his business, he never fails to give back. Therefore, he has received many awards such as the 2006 Distinguished Service Commendation.
